HERE IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER GET RICH WHEN EMPLOYED

Money CNN recently published an article
with data from the Federal Reserve that
showed the reality for those who create
jobs, and those who hold jobs.
We learn that corporate profits are at an
ALL TIME HIGH:
At the same time, the article also
revealed that wages are at an ALL TIME
LOW.
Here's what this means: If you work for a
company, it's probably making more
money than ever , but you won't see any
of it in your paycheck!
In fact, before you came across this post,
you probably thought most companies
were struggling. After all, you've been
hearing in the news that:
Many companies have been downsizing.
Unemployment rates are high.
Economic growth is almost non-existent.
But now you know better.
Below are reasons why you will never get
rich slaving on the job. They also explain
why company profits are at record highs
while salaries are at record lows.
Employees don't have options
Businesses can prosper in good times or
bad. Even when the economic landscape
is tough, organizations have lots of
options — from outsourcing to right-
sourcing, and salary freezes to layoffs.
Employees, however, don't have many
options. They are at the mercy of their
boss. Their livelihood could be suddenly
disrupted with just two words — "You're
fired".
Which brings me to another point.
Employees don't have security
How safe and secure would you feel if
your life could be turned upside down
with two simple words?
And yet, most people insist that starting a
business is risky and working a job is safe.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Security is knowing that you could control
costs by cutting staff or freezing salaries
when sales are slow. Security is knowing
that you have more than one stream of
income.
Security is knowing that if one customer
won't buy, there are still countless more
who will. Security is knowing that
whether the economy is up or down, you
can still be profitable.
Guess who enjoys these kinds of security,
the business owner or the employee?
Employees don't have power
Even if you are "lucky" enough to have a
job, you will never truly be paid what you
are worth. How can I say this?
Simple.
Because if every employee were paid
exactly what they're worth, the company
would not be profitable!
In fact, the economist in the Money CNN
article aptly noted that as profits go up,
wages go down.
But try bringing this injustice to your
boss. Ask for a raise and see where it
gets you. You'll be lucky if the boss
throws you a bone and gives you a 10%
increase (and that would be EXTREMELY
generous).
Most likely, he'd tell you to get back to
work!
Regardless of how smart, productive, or
valuable you think you are (and you may
be!), you will never make more money
than "the man". You have little to no
power in what you get paid.
Employees don't have leverage
Employees are paid for their time in the
office. If they work, they get paid. If they
don't work, they don't get paid.
(Actually, some employees work and still
don't get paid. I'm talking about salaried
employees who do overtime or work in
the weekends.)
But think about this for a moment. The
processes or infrastructures built by
employees may be leveraged forever by
the company. Yet, the employees were
only paid once for building it.
For example, John spends ten days
building an accounting system. The
company pays John for his ten days of
labor, but will continue to reap the
benefits of John's accounting system long
after John is gone.
Ever heard of a billionaire
employee?
I didn't think so.
Now that you know the truth, which side
of the fence do you want to be on? I hope
you decide to be super rich, because this
website was built specifically for you!
